Finback Carver Chair

A pair of the original Finback chairs (without arms) was commissioned by Sir Nicholas and Lady Goodison and donated by them through the Art Fund to the permanent collection of 20th-21st British crafts at the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge. I have long wanted to compliment the Finback by designing a carver version. Here, that wish is beautifully realised by the very skilled hands of our senior maker, Rick Long.
