Chef’s Kitchen
When you are asked to design the family kitchen in the home of a Michelin-starred chef, you take a deep breath.
Needless to say, it was not as I initially expected and the brief, on the whole, was wonderfully relaxed, with a few emphatic imperatives. Work-a-day chic was the answer and unlocked the key to his approval – a goodly balance of colour, warmth of wood, light and plenty of accessible storage for the tools of the trade.
We focussed on drawers, cupboards and shelving and added a few other bits to make the whole: Solid Tricorn chairs , Aerofoil benches and a bespoke table.
It is a very pleasant place in which to enjoy the culinary delights that ensue.
