Angel Console Table (brick Version)

I was gazing at our Christmas tree, looking at the paper seraph at its crown. Thoughts led me to the sketchbook and, shortly afterwards, the Angel table was born. A circular, layered, ‘brick’ base rises up to the wide and generous unfurled ‘wings’ of the table top. Alternatively, we use the stook method of angled staves running vertically . Both look the part. The Angel table is a fair stretch from end to end, looks fabulous in a hallway and truly lives up to its name. This piece uses the wall as a structural component in much the same way as a painting.
