Vase Cabinet

This piece was designed to celebrate a maker’s virtuosity in getting their head around the challenge of its compound curves, and was the sensual and sculptural centre-piece for our solo touring exhibition in 2008, hosted by the Crafts Study Centre at the University of the Creative Arts . It was subsequently exhibited at the House of Commons and awarded a Bespoke Guild Mark No:402 from the Furniture Makers’ Company , before being ultimately shortlisted for the Claxton Stevens Award.
